LESSONS

Rocking S Farm offers riding lessons for anyone age 3 and older. We have well trained lesson horses for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Please note there is a 200lb weight limit for riders.

Lessons are taught Tuesday through Saturday. Most students take lessons 1-2 times per week.

HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS

During a Horsemanship lesson, your rider will learn how to guide a horse safely, learn proper form, learn to post, and learn to transition the different gaits.

New students should wear closed toe tennis shoes, jeans and a riding helmet. Please NO dress boots, cowboy boots or rain boots. Rocking S Farm has helmets that students may borrow.

Cancellation Policy: Students must cancel 24 hours prior to lesson to avoid being charged for the lesson.

Horsemanship Lessons - $65/Lesson

Horsemanship Lesson Package - $180/package

  Includes 4 lessons taught with or without other students.

PRIVATE HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS - $75/LESSON

These lessons are available on Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. A private lesson Includes 45 minutes of one-on-one instruction including 20-30 minutes of riding and learning to properly groom and tack before and after riding.
